Hi everyone!
If you follow me on Twitter, (@ynabeesa) you probably know by now that I am now a participant of the #AirtelTraceStar competition and.... yes, I have to get voted in to stay.
I haven't found out much about it, other than the fact that I need to use an Airtel line to vote.
I am so nervous about this.
Honestly, when I tried out, I didn't think that they'd give me a go-ahead. I didn't see it coming. However, if you've been following my blog posts, you will realize that I have always thought of being a singer someday.
Yes, why didn't I go for TPF? well, I didn't because it was sponsored by Tusker, an alcoholic beverage, and I am muslim, it would be really wrong for me to follow through with that.
I don't know if i am dreaming, I really do not, but my best friend was so supportive, so was my elder sister who knows that I am signed to KibanyaG's record label.
I would like your votes though. And I am even considering doing a few karaoke covers to convince you guys that I got what it takes to be a part of this competition and to secure your votes.
This is a short blog post, so i will go straight to the point.
~*~*~*~*
To vote for me, sms the following codes to 33733

Away from that, Sautisol sent me a beautiful photo of themselves that leaves me wondering what people find beautiful in 6-packs. No, they are not wasted on me, I know someday I will achieve that level of understanding.
Okay... I was really flattered.
So, I am going going going... going.
By the way, I have to study because I have to pass my exams.
BYE!
Please do not forget to vote for me. If you can't, then at least tell a friend. Remember to vote with an airtel line.
I am thankful for any votes I might receive.

Lesson 10: Blind!
I am hating myself right now.
Really... I am. I made the biggest mistake I have ever made in my 22 years of life outside my mother's womb.
And its so bad, the only thing that will prevent me from sobbing myself to sleep is the fact that I am fat and I can't fit into my trousers because my thighs got too big.
A moment on your lips, a lifetime on your hips.
Then again, I am hating because i just saw this TOTALLY hot guy who I wanna talk to before he goes to Uganda but... I can't coz I made the stupidest mistake ever!
Remember FAMSA? yeah, they had a dinner, my muslims bros and sisters were ignoring me and stuff. Now, i wish i had calmed down and seen the bigger picture- a chance to hang out with people who'll be friends even for the rest of my life. Forget Mr. Hot Guy for a minute.
I just hate being a girl.
its stupid sometimes.
Someone please take me out on a date?
And please let it be a class dinner at Poa Place coz I really wanna go there for dinner! EVERYONE has had their cake but I am yet to taste mine.
I am so so so so so so so so so so stupid! UGH!!!!!
On the plus side, there's movie night with my sisters. They've been so hard to come across, the movie nights I mean... so, yeah, I am just gonna sit in my PJs and be such a girl. I will even scrub my face, tie my hair up and wear a face mask.
My face needs some TLC.
MAN! I hope i won't be forgotten. I really wish I won't.
:-(
Anyway, I am gonna put up some videos from the presentation and tag IRISE in it. I can't wait for that! Plus, I can spend time doing a cover or two this weekend.
See, i feel so much better already, despite the fact that I was so blinded with rage a few minutes ago. Keyboards really are good for me. Does this mean I should learn how to play piano or that I should find a way to earn money from blogging?
Hmm!
Bye, i think my dad's outside.
BYE!

Lesson 9: "Its Complicated"
Personally, I have never liked that tag.
I think it is stupid.
And the worst thing about it is... I have used it too.
Till I realised it was really stupid and decided to incorporate "situationship" instead.
For some reason, anytime I hear "situationship" i just start laughing. I told you i tickle quite easy. Literally. Okay, don't think of trying to tickle me now because I will bite off your fingers.
~*~*~*~*
The other day, i went to this scenic place called Kolol Lodge... and it was beautiful! I loved it! It was a retreat with the new class of first year EVH students.
While there, I was walking by with this guy who... well... he kind of has a crush on me and I kind of like him because he is so freaking adorable! He kept teasing me and I started to run around... a little bit. Then we got to the Two River Project and watched the river flow over and people got to the dam and took photos like crazy.
I was freaking out though. I have a fear for heights.
Then I went down and decided to feel the water on my feet. I am a Pisces you know. We love water. The stones were really slippery and maybe... slimy. However, I was not irked. From Water Supply, we were taught that the slime helps a lot.
So long as I don't see it, we are good.
Anyway, this other guy who is pretty attractive and he has a smouldering stare (and you guessed right, he likes me too!) came up and passed by without as much as a word. He was helping some girls cross the slimy rocks quite happily... and they were all smaller than me in size. It really irked me.
Him and my muslim brothers just ignored me like I wasn't even there.
Not complaining. It kind of just happens a lot anyways. I got used to it...
So we went down the trail, then up it to the lodge itself. The EHSAMU chair smiled and told me to come up with games. I didn't have to, though. One of the 1st years was an immense help to all of us, and his energy helped make us all quite content to play with him.
And everyone else, of course!
Then we had a sit-down session where we were to introduce ourselves. We would say which county we were from and stuff about ourselves, including marital status.
So, this guy with the smouldering stare had his turn before me and he said he had a kid.
He has been talking to me since March and he has never told me he had a baby! Or that he had a baby momma. Or that he was in a relationship!
I was so upset, I got up and walked away from the circle to my sister. When I called her, I didn't tell her why I did. Luckily for me, they were too busy looking for me, my sister and my dad, and I just said everything was okay and i was safe and sound.
I didn't want to talk to him after what he said. Hearing my sister's voice. though, made me stronger and I went ahead to shyly introduce myself. I did not get to the marital status though... one of my mates saved me the trouble.
~*~*~*~*
smoulder eyes pissed me off so much that anytime I hear the songs he sent me through Whatsapp I kind of just change them.
Problem is, I love them too much to get rid of them entirely.
When I go for EHSAMU meetings, I kind of act like I do not know a single thing happened. I just try my hardest not to look at him.
Works like a charm. *scoffs*
I can honestly tell you though that this one has not earned the complicated tag.
It is not at all.
1st: he never asked me out.
2nd: he is not remotely serious about me.
3rd: he never told me anything. That is like lying to me. SHUSH! I know what I said.
4th: he probably will never man up
5th: now you know why it is clearly not "complicated".
A simple man makes simple decisions. His actions speak louder than words.
If he is not telling you everything, sorry girlie, he does not want you in his life. That is the simple truth. Especially if he does not apologise for hurting you.
I really don't wanna say anymore.
You know how it goes anyway.
~*~*~*~*
On a MUCH lighter note, i talked to Chimano the OTHER day and he callled me "love".
I melted.
Plus I put up a "do not disturb' sign over my melted body cum puddle and screamed... Holy molly, i love guys who call me 'love'.
It just makes me go 'yori yori'.
Talking about 'yori yori' and puddles, i saw Avan Jogia and almost died... in Jo's dream... #Twisted how can a guy be so hot without trying? He wakes up in the morning and he looks better than I do... HOW?!
All these feels... AVAN JOGIA, where art thou?!
Oh these hormones that make up 90% of my body... (SMH)

Lesson 8: And All Girls Are Mean...
one day,
i'll be,
living in a big old city
and all you're
ever gonna be is mean
yeah,
one day
i'll be,
big enough so you can't hit me
and all you're ever gonna be is mean
why you gotta be so mean.
Hello everyone!
I am the kind of girl who can be whatever I wanna be without fail. If I wanna.
Uhh, that did not make much sense, did it?
Anyway, today, i decided to talk about snarky girls, with a side-dish on how much they can hate you.
~*~*~*~*
When I was younger, I was always on the sidelines. I never knew why then. Anytime the girls wanted to gossip, I was always pushed out of the circle, literally.
I never knew why then, but I have a few reasons now.
I was always alone so much that if a vampire wanted to attack me, they'd probably start with me. Then again, in a twisted world, they'd probably start with the girls in front of me.
I know, I know. Wicked me. Yipee!
When people were all lovey-dovey at 16, I was all, "when I am FRIGGING getting out of this hell hole called school? I can't wait to leave and go live my life!"
Well, I guess everyone thinks that way.
At 16, I was still thinking of how to find a way to turn my wrap skirt into a pair of shorts so that I can climb a tree without exposing you know what.
Been a little bit of a tom-boy.
I am sure you are wondering about why I think I know why people pushed me out of their discussions about guys and the lot during my teenage years. (They still do by the way.)
SCENARIO A-> I was too innocent to be corrupted.
SCENARIO B-> I was too blonde to understand ANYTHING they would say
SCENARIO C-> I was muslim. Still am.
SCENARIO D->: I was too busy being upset minded.
SCENARIO E-> I wasn't popular
SCENARIO F-> I was too freaking cool and awesome to fit in with them. If anything, they should be the ones to fit in with me!
I like the last option better. Sadly, that was not the story of my life.
One of my friends rightly quoted, that "a girl is 99% hormones." I can't say I am that much hormones, but I'm pretty damn sure he'd not take that as my answer.
It's right. Well, kind of.
There are girls who, it seems, were born specifically for the purpose of hating you. #HatersGonnaHateNiallsGonnaPotate
So, you look at them and you;re like, "chic, really, that's the lowest you have sunk?"
And she's like, "I will show you how much lower I have sunk."
I hate haters! I won't pretend about that. Then again, at some point in my life, I have been one. I have hated and dissed girls who right now are flying so high... Like when Miley was busy swingin on a wrecking ball naked and I am like, "Oh my God, Astaghfirrulah she is naked!" while in actual sense I was thinking that "I wish I had that tummy! Its is so flat! Like a chapati!"
That is why we are ordered by the Qura'n to cast our gaze down and have 'haya'.
I won't lie to you. I have survived this long by being a stare-down. I stare almost every person down. My mum once told me I am rude, but I have to. What if this person is gonna kill you and you are humbly bowing your head so she can chop it off and put it up for display?
I am SO not doing that!
~*~*~*~*
I am mean.
I have accepted it.
But some girls are so much meaner, they give mean a new definition. They take it to the other side and leave it on a whole new level.
I met this girl, her name is Tara* (name changed for security purposes). This girl was introduced to me by a mutual friend back in the day.
Anytime the mutual friend was around, Tara played nice.
However, whenever the friend left, she would become the meanie witch she really was.
I was scared of her. I was afraid for my life. She could kill you if she wanted and say that she found you that way.
Okay, maybe i went too far saying that but... you get the picture.
So, one day, I decided to overcome my fear and be nice to her. I went ahead to say hello and be nice but she blatantly ignored me. Like I wasn't there. I thought that maybe I was too soft.
The second time I tried, she ignored me again. I told my sister. She told me that my voice was too soft for her to proobably hear. I thought, "maybe that, but she is probably ignoring me.":
The next time i tried, and my sister was there, she threw me a withering look and kept going. My sister was so shocked, she froze to death.
LOL, God forbid death! Subhanallah!
What I meant to say was that, things just died out after that. I stopped trying.
What do you think? Is she too pissed off, or is she mean?
However, that is not the whole story.
So, this one time, I was busy having fun when I met friends of hers. We had some fun hanging out with them; me, her and our mutual friend. Her friends enjoyed hanging out so much with me, they asked for my number much later when we next met.
Tara found out and went to spread propaganda against me. As i type this out today, none of her friends looks at me the same. She told them that I am mean and I am out to be friends for the perks they come with.
You be the judge and tell me what you think.

On a lighter note, the boys, (sautisol) got picked for the MTVEMA nominations after securing the final slot over Tiwa Savage.
I know I know, Bienaime Baraza loves her. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. I voted like crazy, me and Kenyans on Twitter. (#KOT) And lets not forget the #TeamSautisol family!
Alhamdlilah!
Now, I have to go vote again. Lost count. Its probably past 500 votes now. Not to worry, I am gonna do my best to make sure Davido gets a run for his money!
Sautisol over Mafikozolo, Sardokie and Towa Savage... hmm...!
I love it!!!!!!

Lesson 6: Just A Little Love Can Go A Long Way
Yes, I read a blogpost by Bienaime Baraza from the talented Sautisol.
I almost cried.
I always thought I was the only one who felt lonely... well, me and my sister who tells me things.
Anyway, that's not the point. The point is that every girl wants to meet someone who will want to get to know her genuinely.
Bienaime was quick to point out that with him being famous, he has not really had time to get to meet and know women genuinely. It is true, with fame, people want to know you as the famous person, not as the person who just needs a little love.
I can't say I know exactly what he goes through, but I can testify to people wanting to get with the girl who they knew back then, and who they thought was pretty hard to date.
Yes, I am pretty hard to date. I can never make up my mind. I am sure I am not all alone in this problem, so stop giving me judgy eyes! -_-
GRR!
~*~*~*~*
I have little dating experience, and this was from mostly watching people I know date. And maybe, or maybe not me.
My mum told me she doesn't want me thinking they will get me a husband. I don't want to have a boyfriend and I do not want a creep or weirdo or... whatever. I know that maybe I have almost been crazy in love with someone I knew, but then again, I do not know if I was really in love, or I just had all those feelings from being lonely.
Sometimes, I look at my favorite musicians and I wish I was them. Then I read in between the lines they write on their tweets and I realize that maybe I should never envy them.
However, you never realize this if you are all jealous. Some of these emotions make us blind to what is really in front of us.
So, when I was busy spending nights wishing that I had brothers who would get on my nerves like some four lads who happen to be my role models, one of them was actually feeling the loneliness I felt.
I must say I feel so much better right now. Really, not being sacarstic or anything. I thought I was coming on too strong but... yeah, turns out I am not!
YEEEEEIIIIIYYYYY!
*dance party*
All a girl needs is a little love. Just a little love, it can go a long way.
So, what say you? Want to make a girl happy? Give her a little love.
*~*~*~*
There is this guy I knew in 1st year. He was so cute and everything. Then he went cray cray and do you know what he told me the other day? That he does not miss me.
SILLY BOY!
Why the heck would you even call me?
Go stand under a cold shower. I do not like you anymore! I know you are not sorry for what you told, did and wanted from me.
Girlie, if he wasn't respecting you then, what makes you think he will respect you now? He is not the right guy for you, do not let him in. Just let him go *Frozen*
If you don't wanna be nice, I aint gonna be nice. If he doesn't love you, he doesn't care. Read and see the signs before you make the GREATEST mistake in your life!
~*~*~*~*
On a lighter note, me kicking the dude to the side gives me one less problem.
I got one less problem without you
i got one less one less problem.
Hate me, see if I care. Words can never break my bones, and your sticks and stones are never gonna hurt me, I got a shield from Bella Swan, so beat it! I am childish to you, but I write what I want, so go before I kick you to the curb. #ReallyDontCare Him going gives me more time to see if one day Bienaime and I can go for a coffee date.I really wanna have a friend I can have fun with and it won't be awkward when I tell him that I like how he looks like a chipmunk when he chews. Haha... I was kidding. Do Not crucify me. Okay, bye!

Okay, have fun. BYE!
Okay, bye!
Have a lovely time everyone! Enjoy the girly!

Lesson 5: Pretty and Cute
When it comes to beauty, and someone asks me what I have to say, I feel like a deer caught in the headlights.
Why?
This is because I know for a fact that what applies to me as beauty does not apply for others.
If someone asked me what I would do to look beautiful, one of the things I'd tell them was to be themselves. I know, some people would say they are 'nothing like themselves' but i would tell them to look a little harder.
Yes, a lot of trouble to look beautiful, isn't it?
Who said being pretty doesn't hurt?
~*~*~*~*
Beyonce says it in her single, 'Pretty Hurts' that when she was younger, her mum told her all she needed to do was to wear clean dresses and be clean. However, when she got into showbiz, it became oh, so much more.
It is true. Showbiz has made people trade normal decent skirts for minis and bikinis. I wouldn't blame someone for trying to keep up with the trends. I would only blame them for losing themselves in the process.
Do you want to know what is pretty and cute without even trying? a kitten! Oh my gosh they are so pretty and cute and ... oh my goodness! You know, I am being pretty euphoric over here. They come in all shades and colours. Some have stripes while others don't. Others are so feisty while others are the sweetest little balls of fur you will ever meet. What about when they mew? Oh my gosh! They sound so cute.
They look cute, they sound cute and they are cute!
Yes, I just sidled the topic of Kittens in to forget all about pretty women and tips. Unbelievable? Yes, that's me. I am just so girly it hurts!
Please note that no one walked in with a kitten.
~*~*~*~*
Okay, here are my rules on how to be pretty and cute.
#1 Believe it
Well, your mama might have told you that you are beautiful, and pretty. Your papa too. Now, your boyfriend may have mentioned the same thing too. I skipped brothers because i got none, and moststories I read, the brother usually says the opposite of what you look like.
You have to believe it to see it. I remember I had these awful friends I would complement but they would never say the same to me back in 2nd form. Anyway, the only thing they thought looked good were my hips. To say that I understand confidence issues is the least. I KNOW confidence issues seems more appropriate to say.
#2 Be It
You wanna be pretty and cute? Well, you have to BE pretty. This means playing at dress up more often. Look good, wear your make-up or tone down on it. Have fun and enjoy the endorphins from all the compliments you get. Still thinking you don't know how to be pretty? Wait for the next point.
#3 DIFY
Okay, i added 'F' to DIY. I mean to say, 'Do It For Yourself' because you wanna be pretty for yourself first, then for others later.
If you never felt pretty enough, you have to make yourslef pretty enough. For me, dressing up when i am not going out works pretty well to alleviate the feeling. You do know that if you do not feel pretty, you can never look pretty. Believe that you deserve to feel pretty and go for it.
#4 Haters Are Gonna Hate, Potatoes Are Gonna Potate
Yes, I read a lot of things online, do NOT hate me. repeat, do NOT hate me. This is my blog, feel free to stop reading if you are fed up already.
Haters will always be there. To tell you the truth, I have shoulder length hair, I have grown it since 2006 and now, it looks really good. Yes, and I have haters. They hate me for being me. I have shoulder length hair they can't see. HATE. I have pretty eyes. HATE. I have a waistline. HATE. I have a life. HATE. I do not have a boyfriend. HATE. I am brown and chubby and plump. HATE. I wear prescribed lenses and dark glasses. HATE.
People are gonna hate you for every little thing you do. They might as well hate you while you are feeling pretty cute. You know you will be laughing while they hating. You will be laughing so hard, you can't stop...
Yeah, forget the potato thing.
#5 No Guys Allowed
If you wanna be pretty, you have to let your partner stop telling you that you are for you to feel like you are. If you keep feeling like this, it proves that you got confidence issues and other problems that can't be absorbed by a tissue. (Where is Kantai by the way?)
So, what do you do when you have confidence issues and other personal problems? You figure them out. Start by soul searching. Vlose your eyes and get to know you. Remember you might fall asleep in the process. Do not say i did not warn you!
After you have found yourself, you can happily let a guy flatter you!
#6 Relax
Are you a model?
Are you a beautician?
if your answers are no. then you can have your lazy days. Schedule them to days when you have nothing to do outside, Sit in and treat yourself to facials and whatnots. If you can't afford to do a facial, then spend time in doing hobbies, pottering around in the garden, doing whatever you love. YOU DESERVE that day off. Do NOT allow yourself to be lied to. Spending time with yourself makes you happy and you will have this irresistable glow and joy that no one could resist.
#7 Reminders
Always reind yourself how important you are to yourself. Find positives you love about you and work on magnifying them. Take your negatives and work with them. For me, I love my voice, it gets me happy. I dislike my body size, but i am finding ways to work with it.
Also, remind yourself to thank God for giving you what you got. Not everyone has everything you know.
~*~*~*~*
I am wearing pink nail polish by the way. It was that time of the month, i was bored...
I gotta go, my dad just walked in. Bye!

Lesson 4: You Not Gonna Say A Thing?
Yes, being girly is complicated, hard even. Sometimes, i wanna not be a girl, but it's in my DNA and there is nothing i can do to change that.
No, even a sex change can't change the fact that i was meant to be a girl!
Well, i wanna talk about how hard it is to be a girl... during that time of the month when all you wanna do is for someone to leave you the hell alone or keep you warm, whatever mood the hormone instills.
Yes, it is like taboo for men to hear this, but i am gonna say it anyway.
~*~*~*~*
Every girl is different, that much i have said and it is apparent. I will keep saying this till the day you all understand that what works for me might not work for my best friend or cousin.
We are however, similar. Sometimes, all we need is a little love to prove to us that we are important in your lives.
This test is usually common during our menses. I hate that word, it sounds like Men or medicine or something. I know, i am weird!
During that time, all we want is someone to understand us more than ever. I remember how irritable i usually am, and i am glad my sister usually keeps her eyes open. she hugs me when i feel awful.
Then the nausea... don't get me started on the cramps too!
Well, i should let you know that once, when i was having my menses, i wanted no boys and men within my vicinity. Yes, it's weird, but it is part of being girly.
Whatever happens around a girl during that time, respect her wishes, or else you'll end up with battle wounds that will never heal because they were inflicted by a girl.
All you girls out there, i feel your pain!
~*~*~*~*
what to do?
i'd tell you my part of the story.
i've had the worst cramps since i was in third form. i was like 16 or 17 then. I used to spend days dreading those days. When i got to fourth form, it got even worse. I'd starve myself for days because of the abdominal discomfort. I also suffer from ulcers and this condition made my days truly horrific. That was also the one time i would get a running tummy.
What did i do?
Good question!
Well, i stayed that way, trying to eat more vegetables. Even then, my diet change didn't yield much change. When i went to see a doctor, i was told that maybe i have fibroids. These are growths in the uteurs, or on it. I am frightened. I think i have had enough about growths.
right now, i am trying to lose weight to get rid of this problem. I think it might be my safest bet. I believe that maybe i was also stressed, because anytime i am stressed, the pain gets worse. I hope there is someone out there who can relate to this story.
I still try keep my Haemoglobin level up. Yes, we can easily get anaemia, especially for heavy bleeders. You have to be careful about what you eat!
~*~*~*~*
Yes, so i got a little medical up there, huh?
I met this guy who wanted to date me. However, when i was having my painful cramps, the idiot, (yes he was an idiot, you'll see why) told me it was a normal thing. I almost killed him. Thank God he was about 500kms away. Or else, i wouldn't have been held responsible for the book hitting i'd give him.
Well, i gotta go. My feet are turning bleu. That's blue in french.
Till later guys.
Oh, by the way, i applied for this SFS KIMANA program and i sent in my application letter. i hope they got it! Yes, now i am gonna go. Bye! Till next time guys! Love you! Mwah!

Lesson 3: No One Better Wear What I am Wearing...
Well, i have found myself, amusedly, watching High School Musical: Seniour Year more than once since i got it. i don't know if its because of the fly music or the still flier guys.
Oh well...
Anyway, i remember that one of the songs goes like, "its gonna be a night, to remember, Big (think?) fun..." or something where the musician picks up a dress and the class president picks up the same one and sings, "there better be no one wearing the same dress as me."
Yes, we girls have issues. LOADS of issues when we discover that someone else is wearing what we are wearing. we feel saddened. Its like someone has stolen our ideas or something.
Before i finally decided to put up this post, i was thinking to myself if i should write about a number of other NUMEROUS ideas, but i guess i am STUCK with this one idea.
I won't take a whole 1000 words to tell you the truth about girls and what we like with our clothes, and shoes. I never used to mind wearing the same clothes as anyone else before i grew up, but then it hit me that wearing similar clothes with someone you don't even like just sucks. i mean, who'd like to see every other woman wearing a dress she likes when it is not a Kenya Uniform?
Its okay if its a uniform....
Talking about uniforms, i have a knack for wearing the biggest and baggiest clothes i can ever find. Believe you me its got nothing to do with my religion. I am just that way. Lately, my mum has been trying to get me to stop, but its almost impossible. Its second nature to me-it comes naturally. I once got named the Neatest Girl of the Week because of my baggy skirt.
If you're curvy, it still doesn't matter, the clothes will still follow the contours of your body.
.
.
.
So, you are probably wondering about this topic, you know, asking yourself about women's rapidly changing fashion trends, and how that relates to me. Well, i long discovered that Fashion is for the tiny women-no offense meant-and it isn't always decent.
Due to its fast changing trends, i have learned to never follow them till the new season's is out. I don't see the point in running to buy things that "are in fashion" when you can buy some pretty decent clothes for people your age-like a nice decent feminine dress, or a pair of pants (trousers) that would go well with your shape.
Pay regard to dressing for your shape, age and other preferences and you'll see how much better you'll feel. You'll meet less people wearing what you're wearing, unless you're a super model, that's different, and you won't have to give them the 'evil eye'.
.
.
.
So, what are we gonna do? fight someone?
No, you can't do that. it is silly actually.
I usually buy my earrings from any stall i can find where they look half-decent. I don't buy what everyone buys. I must say my mum's Capricorn effect and my elder sister's Taurus behaviour rubbed off a little on me. I am attracted to the cutest little trinkets, and i don;t think its ever gonna change. I am a Pisces, and i have two Eart Signs around for consultation.
No wonder Taylor Swift looks so pretty!
She's a Capricorn.
I gotta go. Did this help you? Wait,. if you don't wanna wear what evryone else is wearing, change where you shop. Sounds like a deal, right? and develop a good eye for things.
Okay, i really gotta go. Goodbye!
Love,
~Being Girly.

Lesson 2: Poetry That Tells The Girl Story
I DON’T KNOW WHAT THIS IS . . .
BUT I WANNA WRITE
Confusing
You,
with your words and perfect voice
Me,
With my insecure, lost life
We met and sparks flew
But it had to end
Had to end
Its confusing
I am confused
You come back, you go away
You enter, you leave
And i am always left here
Just a bundle of nerves
A bundle of nerves
I yearn for the day I will kiss
Your pink lips.
But your two way signals are hard to read
Flashing like a faulty car’s indicators
So confusing
I can crash and burn
At your very touch
I crash like a house ofcards
Your smile is like a wrecking ball
Your presence gives me a heart attack
You make me all weak inside
But you are a tower of stone and
I can’t seem to get through to you
You are so confusing
So infuriating
But I love you so much
Because you are my yellow brick road
And I will be crazy to ever let you go

Lesson 1: Introduction on How to be Girly My Way
Hey, this is a new blog i am starting that allows me to be more of myself than i used to be in my old blog. Okay, it isn't old but compared to this one, its older. My new blog is a newbie.
So, what is being girly about? Well, i have NO idea, that is why i decided to start this and reach into myself so that maybe i can come up with what Being Girly is ALL about! Yup, you heard me.

An introduction, right?
I am a girl, and i will always be a girl in this lifetime. Doesn't matter how old i will be. I will be eighty (Inshaallah) and still be a girl. Then maybe they will have a new season of Golden Girls. (I used to watch it with my momma and papa).
In this world, being a girl is all about trying to fit in with the right people. Having the right clothes, having the right shoes, having the right friends, having the right boyfriend, having cool parents, having the right house, make-up, perfect family and what nots. But in MY world, its all about having all the things above, whether perfect or not, and appreciating them whether or not you want to or not coz someone somewhere does not have what you do. (True Story)
So, welcome to Being Girly and buckle up everyone. The Blog is just beginning! yeeeeeehaaaaaaa!
~*~*~*~*
I know, i know, the first topic will probably be about how to tell the difference between a girl and a boy. Sure thing, i will. We all know how to tell the physical differences apart, and i don't have time to play pervert over here, so let's just get straight to the point. (i have wattpad to visit after this).
1.) All Girls love PINK, except if that girl is me.
yes, they do. All the girls round the world love pink. Except me. I just wear it because, let's face it, i look adorable in it, and apparently it brings out the colour of my lips. I believe red does a better job, but who's listening? NO ONE!
2.) All Girls Love to Flirt
Yes, we all do! Shamelessly or not. There is this one guy who will either reciprocate your flirting or think you are insane. (never happened to me, lol, coz, let's just say i don't really flirt. These things just HAPPEN!) Even then, i think we were created for that sole purpose-to hide our iron fists inside a glove of flirty velvet. Think i'm crazy? THINK AGAIN! tha's exactly why i am blogging!
3.) All Girls Are Complicated
and the worst part about it is, the simpler we seem, the more complicated we are! In a simple kind of way. Confusing right? i'm speaking girl here!
4.) All Girls Are Different
And that's why i am gonna put my head on the line and make this simple for you-I am a girl. I DEFINITELY reason a little like most girls, but i am an individual, and your guide to dealing with girls should have the clause-EVERY GIRL IS DIFFERENT. Not every girl loves Black Forest Cake.
5.) All Girls Want Is To Be Understood
That is not only what i want. Every girl, and every person in this world wants to be understood. Its a thing that comes with being human. Not saying that aliens don't want to be understood.
6.) Girls are just... GIRLS
Girls will always be what they are-Just girls.
7.) All Girls are INDIVIDUALS
We might all have a crush on Justin Bieber, or still love Nsync, or BoyzIIMen, WestLife or BackStreet, or we might want to date One Direction's curly and blondie, or find Liam Hemsworth and his brother the hottest things since drop scones, but one fact will always remain, we are individual. We might gather and fan about oh Alejandro from this soap, or Carlos from the pther one, but we each have our own tastes./ We might all be ABSOLUTELY be in love with the dresses Lupita Nyong'o wore to the Golden Globes, or Miley Cyrus' eyes, or Adele's voice, or Jennifer Lopez' body, but bottom line, we all have our different likes and dislikes. We all appreciate different things. And even if we say all men are dogs, or all of the male populace SUCKS, we don't really mean it. Well, i don't. So i prefer to say, "So and So SUCKS!"
i speak for me and a few other women.
So when we say, "All men are jerks" and we are telling you, a man, that we are, prove us wrong. Show us you aren't. And please, for Heaven's sake, do not start with, "who told you to try all of them?". Say that, and even if you run away, i will find you, and kill you myself. Not literally speaking. But you will be damaged. Don't say i didn't warn you.
Right girls?

I knopw someone out there is thinking i am INSANE, but... do i care? NO! i am a girl, and welcome to being a girl.
Or trying to be one.
If you are a guy and you are reading this, don't worry, you aren't gonna be termed any names that will diminish your stature. In fact, i would advice you to read this and have a laugh, or store away the points in your mind.
Gotta go. Using someone's computer and there is this guy over here from Statten Island in NYC (is that written nicely?) he smells amazing! LOL, noooo. STOP!
BYE!
